Talking with Tasha

We hold space to discuss topics that affect our community. I offer my personal and professional experience from the collective stance of a social worker, Black woman, and firearms instructor.

Take advantage of this opportunity to learn from each other while respecting differing thought processes - without allowing them to threaten our personal views, beliefs, and values. This is where we learn to remain open to outside views while understanding there is no obligation to adopt them as our own.  

No topic is off limits, however, with that, keep in mind, I DO NOT tolerate any level of disrespect in these spaces. This protects me and the participants (you included) free of innerG pollution. With that said, please do not allow “getting in your feelings” cause you to miss an opportunity for growth and reflection. Send me a private message if needed. Failure to adhere to respectful mature interactions with other participants will result in instant removal from the Zoom Meeting.

Feel free to email tacticalsocialworker@gmail.com with questions to place on the agenda for the scheduled topic. Deadline to submit questions ends 30 minutes before the Zoom Meeting starts. Additionally, feel free to suggest topics you would like to see added to the schedule.
